More Than 200 Teams Enthusiastically Participate in Business Competition at the 2021 Ganesha Business Festival

BANDUNG, Ditmawa ITB – ITB School of Business and Management (SBM) successfully held a national business competition, Ganesha Business Festival (GBF) 2021 virtually, some time ago (22/4/2021). This event is a collaborative program organized by the Association of Management Students (KMM ITB) and the Association of Entrepreneurship Students (IMK Artha ITB).

SBM lecture as well as Head of the Sub-directorate for Professional Development and Entrepreneurship, ITB’s Directorate of Student Affairs, Sonny Rustiadi S.E, MBA, Ph.D., CBAP, said there were about 170 teams from universities and 50 teams from high schools who participated in the competition.

A series of the events which have been held in the past 3 months is filled with various activities. Among them are webinars, talk shows, exhibitions, Business Case competitions, Business Plan competitions, and other interesting events. 

“For 3 months from the start of the preparation to the execution of the event, participants’ enthusiasm was very good. Hopefully, this activity will provide benefits and energy for all participants and the committee to stay motivated to work and gain knowledge, especially in the midst of the pandemic. Of course, this is an opportunity for us to collaborate and connect in presenting beneficial programs,” explained Sonny. 

He said that this program was an effort to improve the condition of the nation and government in the business sector. This is expected to be one of the ways for SBM ITB to improve its existence and contribute to solving the nation’s problem. 

On the occasion, the winners of the competition were awarded by the Head of The Entrepreneurship Department, Akbar Adhi Utama ST., M.A.B., Ph.D. and The Head of Management Department, Dr. Eng. Nur Budi Mulyono, ST., MT.
