Bandung, Ditmawa ITB – ITB Career Center collaborated with ITB Innovation Development and Entrepreneurship Institution (LPIK ITB) to organize an exhibition for PMW X TOP ITB 2020’s participants. Designated as ‘Entrepreneur Festival (E-Fest) PMW x TOP ITB 2020’, the virtual product exhibition was held on December 12, 2020.
Head of Sub-Directorate of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship and the ITB Director of Student Affairs (Ditmawa ITB) – Sonny Rustiandi SE, MBA, Ph.D., CBAP noted all 75 participants come from diverse business categories. Among them were environmental technology, medical technology, ICT, beauty, services and social, culinary, fashion, and creative industry.
“Hopefully, after this event, the participant can develop their networking together with LPIK ITB. Moreover, participants are also able to continue their business self-sufficiently. We will keep supporting our students to excel not only in internal but also external entrepreneurship competition. We also hope these participants can also attend the Independent Entrepreneurship Festival competition, where they can directly converse with capital agents and investors,” elaborated Sonny.
The festival served as an exhibition platform and hosted a talk show talking about technopreneurship and being a creative businessman during this pandemic. The talk show was presented by Achmad Zaky (Founder and ex-CEO of Bukalapak), Wawan Dhewanto Ph.D. (SBM ITB Lecturer), Meydam Gusniar (Head of Business Development for Waste4Change), and Arizky Irwiansyah (Vice President Assistant of Micro Banking for Mandiri Bank). The talk show also invited a lot of other keynote speakers who are experts in creative entrepreneurship.
Of all teams joining the exhibition, there are several teams commended by the judges. Nyampih won the title ‘Best Team,’ Purey won the ‘Most Profitable,’ Watana won the ‘Best Booth,’ and Daru Lab won the ‘Most Favorite Booth by Attendees.’
