KMMI 2021 Closing Ceremony, Create Excellent Students in Entrepreneurship

BANDUNG, Ditmawa ITB – To support student development in the field of entrepreneurship, the Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa) through the ITB Career Center, the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (LPIK) ITB, and the School of Business and Management (SBM) ITB, held the Indonesian Student Micro Credential (KMMI). ) 2021. This event will be held online from July to September 2021.

The Head of the Sub-Directorate for Professional Development and Entrepreneurship of ITB, as well as the Director of the ITB Career Center, Sonny Rustiadi, MBA, Ph.D, revealed that there are 4 main programs implemented in KMMI 2021. Among them, Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), Acceleration Bootcamp (ABC), Start Up Business Incubation (SBI), and International Professional Preparation Program (IP3).

“KMMI is part of the program of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. So that participants who register are not only ITB students but also non-ITB students. The number of student registrants is 8,995 participants from 10 universities," said Sonny during the 2021 KMMI Closing Ceremony, Saturday (6/1//2021).

Before starting the program, his party also held a KMMI Pre-Event by organizing the Big X Ideology event. This event is the KMMI 2021 entrepreneurship selection program, which consists of a series of business stream programs, creative streams, and built-in technical platforms. At the virtual opening of KMMI ITB 2021 which was held last September, an entrepreneurship seminar was held by presenting speakers from Agate Studio, Ramesia, and BIM.

Meanwhile, the Director of Ditmawa ITB, Dr. G. Prasetyo Adhitama M.Sn said that his party appreciated the collaboration between the three ITB internal institutions in designing, synergizing with each other, and building a strong entrepreneurial climate for students. Moreover, the results of the teams that succeeded through this selection were also exhibited at the ITB virtual fair, so that more students would be able to see the entrepreneurial innovations of the KMMI 2021 participants.

"We hope that the participants who have completed this program can inspire, encourage, and motivate themselves and other students, to continue to be strong individuals and able to survive in the face of an increasingly competitive era in various ways," said Prasetyo.

On this occasion, also present representing the Chairman of LPIK ITB, Rofiq Iqbal, as well as the Head of the Division of Entrepreneurship Development of SBM ITB, Dr. Dina Dellyana, MBA. The event was closed with a talk show from the CEO of Asia To Japan, Masato Sanpei. Not only that, a business seminar was also held which presented speakers as Head of Investment Mandiri Capital Indonesia, Melvin Octavian Santoso, Business Actors and Extenal Affairs Director of Taka Indonesia, Dr. Santo Dewatmoko, and Jaramba Cofounder & CMO Erdy Suryadarma.
