JATINANGOR, kemahasiswaan.itb.ac.id —To support the success of character development for residents and tutors, the ITB Dormitory Member Resources Division provides forums for residents and tutors to develop themselves. Your participation is crucial in making this platform good enough to support self-development so that we can become more creative and brave.

In this case, the Member Resources (SDA) field of ITB Dormitory Tutors provides a forum for ITB Dormitory residents and tutors regarding self-development in the arts. This activity will later become a series with one of the dormitory's annual activities, namely Community Service. The activity held by the ITB Dormitory Tutor SDA Division isTthe Asrama Festival.

The ITB Dormitory, in its endeavor to foster creativity and innovation among its students, especially those residing in the dormitories, organized a remarkable event- The Asrama Festival 2024. This unique event, held last April on the ITB Jatinangor campus, served as a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents and innovative ideas, thereby contributing to their personal growth and development.

The 2024 Asrama Festival, led by Chief Executive Yadi, played a significant role in supporting the self-development program for TPB residents and ITB Dormitory Tutors in the arts field. This event not only provided a platform for TPB residents and ITB Dormitory Tutors to showcase their artistic talents but also aimed to enhance their abilities and skills.

"Its activity was carried out to encourage ideas and creativity among ITB Dormitory residents and Dormitory Tutors in the field of art. "Through this event, it is hoped that TPB students, especially KIPK, will become more creative and brave and develop to achieve their dreams," said Yadi.

He explained that this festival was animated by a series of events in the form of community service that had previously been carried out. Then, there was also the "Asrama Got Talent" and the peak event, which was an appreciation for residents and outstanding tutors. In the Ganesha Dormitory community service activities, for example, students cleaned the Cikapundung River while the Jatinangor Dormitory residents added prayer room facilities to ITB Jatinangor, as well as visited an orphanage.

"The Asrama Got Talent event is a talent search event for ITB dorm residents and tutors. Apart from that, we also appreciate ITB dormitory residents and tutors who have academic and non-academic achievements," explained Yardi.

The Head of the Sub-Directorate for Student Welfare, Ditmawa ITB, was present at the opening of this activity, Ir. Hendri Syamsudin M.Sc., Ph.D. He appreciated the enthusiasm and determination of the committee and the ITB dormitory residents, who were enthusiastic about participating in this activity. According to him, many student activity programs for dormitory residents are crucial, especially in developing student character.

"Student activities for dormitory residents are critical. One of them is the Asrama Festival activity. How can this activity encourage students to continue to be enthusiastic about creating, innovating, and collaborating with other dormitory residents. We also express our thanks and high appreciation to the organizing committee, dormitory tutors, and other dormitory residents who have tried hard to organize and enliven this activity," concluded Hendri.
